In 1998 mTw was one of the co-founders of the of the German eSports scene. As a result of a series of many successes, one of the largest Germany communities was able to be established. Consequently mymTw.de is one of the most visited eSports-related websites in Europe.

Since its formation, mTw has been a by-word for success, professionalism and continuity in the international clan scene. Even though the structures of eSport are undergoing constant change, mTw constantly finds itself ranked among the top clans in Germany in terms of success and presence at both a national as well as an international level. The teams from mTw have already been able to achieve numerous successes such as being multiple-time German Champions, European Champions and Vice Champions at the World Cyber Games, the eSport equivalent of the Olympic Games. There are currently over 70 active gamers in mTw.

With the relaunch of mTw and the concurrent partnership with the name sponsor AMD, mTw.AMD is entering a new age in eSports. A new concept, a modern webpage, many new members in the team and a perfect environment for the international CS team, which is one of the world’s top three, will see to it that mTw.AMD can establish itself worldwide in the competition. The aims for 2008 are high, but realistic. The year will tell! 

Eight different teams, so-called squads, fight it out in games like FIFA 2008, Counter-Strike International, Counter-Strike Hamburg, Counter-Strike: Source, Warcraft III, UT 3, WoW PvE and WoW PvP for national and international titles. mTw uses the perfect training conditions offered by the ROCCAT Evolution Camp in order to prepare themselves for the big tournaments. The Hamburg-based team of the clan even plays all official matches from there.
